Check a draw
Every winner is picked by a public random number that nobody - the site included - could know in advance. This page re-runs the draw in your own browser, so you can see for yourself that it was fair.

Instant wins
At launch a seal - a fingerprint of the competition, its maximum tickets and the number of prizes in each prize row - and a drand round still to come were published. Once that round was out the instant wins were placed from its randomness alone, and every winning ticket number was published - before the first sale. This checks the competition's facts give the seal and rebuilds the winning numbers from the round, so you can check them while the competition is still on sale.
Your tickets
Each order's numbers were drawn at random from the numbers still free when it was paid, using a drand round that did not exist yet. The competition publishes the whole record when entries close: every draw in order, with its round. This replays it and shows exactly which numbers each draw had to give.
How it works
- The randomness comes from drand, a public beacon run by the League of Entropy (Cloudflare, Protocol Labs, EPFL and others). A new value is signed every 3 seconds and nobody can predict it.
- When entries close, the entry list's fingerprint (SHA-256) and a drand round about a minute in the future are published. Nobody - the operator included - can know that round's value.
- This page fetches that round, checks its signature against drand's published key, and re-runs the draw from the list and the round. Any change to the list changes the fingerprint.
- Instant wins are placed from a drand round named at launch, before it existed, with a seal of everything else they depend on - the competition, its maximum tickets and its prize rows. Nothing else goes in. Once they are placed - before the first sale - every winning number is published, so anyone can check, while it is on sale, that no winning ticket was chosen or moved.
- Ticket numbers are drawn when each order is paid, at random from the numbers still free, using a drand round named before it existed. The record of every draw is published at close, so each order's numbers can be replayed here; a cancelled order's numbers go back into the pool, in the record too.
- A live draw is made one of two ways, chosen at the draw and published with it before its round exists: a pick among the entries, or a Standard Draw - numbers from 1 to the maximum tickets, one at a time and never the same one twice, a number that is not an entry passed over until an entry is drawn. Every number comes from the one round, so the misses can be replayed here too, and each entry's chance is the same either way.
- If a winner forfeits (say they cannot be contacted in time), the place is redrawn the same way: the same published list, less the entrants who forfeited and the other winning tickets - all fixed before a new round is named.
